The duration of the examination is determined by the workload shown in the
appendix.
f) A simulation game is a complex scenario of varying duration with realistic and at the same time open-ended problems that have to be solved. Simulation games can be designed competitively (enforcement of a group's solution) or cooperatively (joint solution finding). In addition to knowledge, simulation games test planning-strategic and communicative skills in dealing with and using specialist knowledge in application scenarios. The solutions are not defined in advance, but are the result of planning, negotiations, strategies, tactics and decisions. The scope is determined by the workload, which is shown in the appendix
.
g) Project work is the independent processing of a task or problem in a group or by an individual, from planning through implementation to documentation of the result in written, oral, electronic or other form. The processing time and scope are determined by the workload, which is listed in the appendix.
(6) In suitable cases, examinations may also be carried out as group work or as an oral group examination as determined by the examiner,
if the individual contribution of each group member is clearly recognizable, clearly definable and assessable.
(7) 1Theexaminers shall determine whether the examination will be conducted in presence or in electronic form and whether the examination
will be accompanied in electronic form by video supervision when announcing the examination date in accordance with Section 15 (6). 2Ifthere are serious reasons, a different form of implementation (electronic or face-to-face) may be determined after the examination date has been announced in consultation with
the responsible examination board, provided that this does not put the candidates to be examined at a disadvantage when taking their
examinations. 3Inthe case of an examination conducted in electronic form, examination candidates shall be given sufficient

.
§ 13 Examinations using the answer-choice procedure
(1) 1Anexamination using the answer-choice method is deemed to exist if the minimum performance of the examination candidate required to pass the examination can be achieved
exclusively by marking or assigning the given answers. 2Examinationsor examination questions using the answer
choice method are only permitted if they are suitable for providing evidence that the examination candidate has mastered the content and methods of the
module in the essential contexts and can apply the knowledge and skills acquired.
(2) 1Theexamination questions must be unambiguously comprehensible, free of contradictions, clearly answerable and suitable for determining the
knowledge of the examination candidates to be tested in accordance with paragraph 1 sentence 2. 2Iterations ofthe same examination questions (including the answer options) are permitted. 3Deductionof
points within an examination task is not permitted.
(3) If the examiner - according to the faculty or degree program-specific design of the specific answer choice procedure - is not also the
task setter, but the examiner's role is shifted from the examiner responsible according to the examination regulations to another task setter,
the following paragraphs 4 to 9 also apply.
(4) 1Theexaminer selects the examination material, formulates the questions, determines the possible answers and draws up the assessment rules and the assessment scheme
in accordance with paragraph 6. 2Therequirements for passing the examination must be determined in advance.3 Beforethe examination, the examiner carries out a review process in which the content
and form of the questions are checked by a second examiner.
(5) 1Theexaminer can also create a pool of equivalent examination questions from which the examination candidates are each
given different examination questions to answer. 2Theassignment is made by random selection. 3Theequivalence of the examination questions must be ensured.
(6) 1Theexamination is passed if the examination candidate has achieved at least 60 percent of the total achievable points. 2Ifthe
overall average of the points achieved in an examination minus 12 percent of the overall average is below 60 percent but above 50 percent of the total achievable points, the pass mark is calculated according to this sliding clause. 3Anassessment scheme that only specifies an absolute pass mark is
inadmissible.
(7) 1Theexaminations are to be assessed as follows: If the minimum number of points required to pass the examination has been achieved, the grade shall be
"very good" if at least 80 percent,
"good" if at least 60 but less than 80 percent,
"fully satisfactory" if at least 40 but less than 60 percent,
"satisfactory" if at least 20 but less than 40 percent,
"sufficient" if none or less than 20 percent
of the points achievable beyond this have been achieved. 2Whencalculating the number of points, 0.5 values are interpreted in favor of the examination candidate
. 3Ifthe minimum number of points required to pass the examination is not achieved, the grade is "unsatisfactory (1-3 points)" or "unsatisfactory (0 points)".
(8) 1Ifthere is a conspicuous accumulation of errors in the answers to individual examination tasks during the assessment of examination performance, the examiner shall check the examination tasks in question
immediately and before announcing the examination results as to whether they are incorrect in relation to the requirements in accordance with paragraph 2 sentence 1
. 2Thetasks are to be analyzed post hoc. 3The difficulty index, selectivity index, reliability and distractor analysis provide an indication of the quality of the
questions set. 4Ifthe review reveals that individual examination tasks are incorrect, these must be re-evaluated or not taken into
consideration when determining the examination result. 5Thenumber of examination questions to be taken into account in determining the examination result shall be reduced accordingly. 6Thereduction in the
number of examination tasks after publication of the results may not be to the disadvantage of an examination candidate. 7Ifthe
number of points attributable to the examination tasks to be eliminated exceeds20 percent of the total achievable points, the examination must be repeated in its entirety. 8Thisalso applies
if only part of an examination is to be taken using the answer-choice method.
(9) If an examination consists only partially of examination questions in the answer-choice procedure, this paragraph applies, with the exception of paragraph 8 sentences 7 and 8, only to the examination part created in the
answer-choice procedure.

module is calculated as the unweighted arithmetic mean of the graded examinations in this study section; in this case, the weighting of the graded examinations may
deviate accordingly from the weighting shown in the module overview in the appendix. 4Thegrade of the corresponding study section is calculated from the weighted arithmetic mean of the modules. 5Ifmore module examinations aresuccessfully completed in a study section than are required for the successful completion of the degree program according to the examination regulations, the modules of the student's choice are used to calculate the overall grade. 6Theremaining elective modules passed are shown as additional examinations on the transcript of records. 7Ifnot all module examinations required for successful completion of a study section
have been successfully completed or graded as passed, the provisional grade for the study section is calculated as a weighted arithmetic mean of the module examinations already graded. 8Thegrades are included in the overall grade with the following weighting:
a) Grade for the first study section at the University of Cologne in accordance with Section 5 (3): 50%
b) Grade for the second study section at İstanbul Altınbaş University in accordance with Section 5 (3): 50%
