ECTS-Points
The ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) has been developed by the European Commission in order to provide a standard, reliable recognition process of courses and studies completed abroad. Academic achievements can be measured, compared and transferred from one institution to another.
A list about the number of ECTS points will be given to you at the beginning of the semester during the orientation week.
If you want to visit other faculties, the acceptance of the results obtained is the responsibility of your home university, according to general rules. Certificates of participation of such events you will get at the ERASMUS representatives of the particular faculty. If you are seeking the acceptance of such an event as a legal entity, we want you to submit the certificate at the ZIB.
A summary certificate (Transcript of Records) will be produced on request. We ask you to apply for this in due time.
