The application deadline is 15 July each year.
This year, the selection process in Cologne will take place on 20–21 July 2026 in the main building of the University of Cologne. All applicants will be invited to the selection process once their application has been received.

Duration: 8 semesters (Bachelor’s) + 2 semesters (Master’s), leading to the Italian Laurea degree
Students: 15 German and 15 Italian students per year

- Duration: 8 semester bachelor + 2 semester master lead to the Italian Laurea degree.
- Students: every year 15 german students, 15 italian students
4 semesters at the University of Florence. Continuation of studies in the 3rd and 4th year in Cologne with the teaching content of the intermediate examination of the degree program in Law First examination. Continued with a one-year master's degree in Florence (one semester) and in Cologne (one semester), which leads to the Italian law degree Laurea (a five-year law degree is required for the Laurea degree), regularly continuing of Rechtswissenschaften Erste Prüfung (State Exam) by the German students.
