Gujarat National Law University (short: GNLU) is a law school founded in 2003 in the state of Gujarat. The college is located in the city's capital Gandhinagar, which is not far from the metropolitan center of the state in Ahmedabad.

The university is regularly ranked among the country's best law schools in the rankings and therefore one of the most prestigious universities in India.

The GNLU offers a typical campus life, with housing, refectories and various sports- and leisure offers. It should be noted that in India, at least during campus spare time, there is a strict separation of female and male students. This is a condition for Indian families to send their daughters to study at all.

With less than 1,000 students, the GNLU is more like a German school than a typical German university. Accordingly, the care key also allows a completely different study experience. Academic education includes regular lectures from Indian pillars of society, such as the Prime Minister or senior judges, who are also members of the university.
